Is the middle picture is that after you scraped the cutback off.
Not what I was looking to do
Dan,
The middle photo is of the cutback after it was covered using a product called “feather finish” from Ardex:

We never scraped off the cutback. That was a big part of why we posted about this. We wanted to demonstrate that you can encapsulate the cutback rather than scraping it off (potentially dangerous).
The middle picture is the cutback after 1 thin coat of the feather finish. We did add a second coat since we had a small space and plenty of material.
Good luck.

thats great I have a basement floor front half has it 1/8 ” thick people where probaly covering to compenstate for hydrolic pressure damage. did you use a rake maybe I should float 1/4″ rather then feather but I have 408 sq.Ft.
I did a couple of thin coats and that seemed to work out very well. My area was small so I was able to work it pretty easily. I would definitely go thicker if I were you. Obviously, paying attention to the recommended max thickness per layer would be a good idea. Good luck.
I contacted ardex or henry confused it seems they might be same company was given a number of there tech service which I will talk to tomorrow. Encapsulate is my only way could never scrape it off and do not have it in my budget to hire some one
