Had to add a follow up to this posting. My Craigslist ad for commercial office space for rent in Buffalo finally received a response. Not only that, but it was a serious prospect who signed a lease the following week.

You probably won't get a volume of people contacting you through a commercial listing at Craig's, but it only takes one.

Since the commercial real estate section at Craigslist isn't too active, you will also gain some benefit from web search. The listing is likely to get indexed by the search engines, so be sure to seed it with words and phrases that people are likely to search on.

Search 'buffalo office for rent' at Google. You will see what I mean.
