This basement was a complete mess before we started. There were water issues and years of neglect. Now, it is a useable space for a kids playroom, a workshop, or storage.

The front stoop/step of the house was pitched badly at the basement, causing most of the water problem. In addition to the stoop, there was an enormous pine tree, with 50 years of agressive roots invading the front of the building.
The before and after results were as follows.
We removed the tree, the volume of roots, and pitched the front stoop away from the home. The problem now solved, the water redirected, the landscaping is the project to follow.
